We address the gap between wanting STEM programs and being able to offer STEM in public and private settings.

Integrating STEM into K-8 Curriculum

How STEM can be integrated into K8 Education and how everyday concepts and projects can be used to accomplish state STEM requirements

What is Technology - Building Bridges

Using concepts from EIE, this program helps redefine teachers understanding of STEM to help them transfer understanding of the concepts to the students. ( Alternate title - If an English Major can do STEM - you can too )

First Day - A great year starts here

Program to help new teachers organize the classroom, and their first day, in order to setup a great school year ( this topic has an Elementary Focus but applicable to most classrooms)

How to - Workshop development

Discussion with teachers on how to use the workshop model for Math, Reading and Writing ( Elementary Focus )

Internet’s Down

Teacher strategies and backup plans when something goes wrong in the classroom. This program provides examples of several what if scenarios and how to handle the classroom when the unexpected happens.

Math in the Morning - Reach for the Stars

Summer Math Workshops Grades 2-5

Designed to be integrated with other classes, projects and activities to fill a morning or full-day camp program during summer break.

The Science of Beauty

Middle School Program

Reviews the science behind what we call beauty, including light, ratios and ingredients. Also highlights the work of a diverse group of women scientists and engineers. Options for several hands-on & take home projects.

Past Events:

Wauwatosa Wisconsin - June 6-17, 2022 These 2-week long workshops were designed for students completing 1st-4th grades.

Math in the Morning returned for a second summer and this year we added a STEM workshop.

Math in the Morning: Fractions, Percents & Decimals, STEM: Engineering design process - Based on an Engineering is Elementary(tm) program about natural ecosystems.
